MINT'S POV

I've always looked up to her.

What girl my age wouldn't?

She was beautiful, talented and just so cool.

At first I only wanted to be like her, just like most of her fans and I got that chance when it turned out that she was the last mew.

Except for the little fact that she didn't wanna join us, saying we were annoying.

Of course I was disappointed but at the same time I couldn't help but wonder of I was maybe overreacting.

Shouldn't I have been just a bit pouty but fine otherwise?

I realized why when she joined us anyway and I felt much happier then I had even before.

I didn't just idolize her.

I was in love with her.

Through all our time together I felt my feeling grow every day.

I thought they were being returned when she also started treating me like a friend.

Before I knew it we were as close as sisters and I felt ready to confess.

But when I was literally just on my way to tell her my heart broke.

I had walked into the kitchen where I had last seen her go and was greeted by the sight of her in Keichiro's arms, kissing.

Upon seeing me they had sheepishly told me how they had been secretly dating for a few weeks already.

I did my best to look happy for them.

I had screamed and hugged them both and started ranting their wedding which they had laughed off.

Soon I made my leave, fighting the tears in my eyes.

Was this what the alien Kisshu felt every time Ichigo rejected him?

It just wasn't fair.

Ichigo had both Kisshu and Aoyama and even Ryou in love with her.

Lettuce and Pudding held the hearts of Pai and Taruto, no matter how much the two aliens would deny it.

And Keichiro held the heart I wanted.

It however for once didn't matter how much I wanted something.

Even with all the money I had I could never buy love.

Even I know that.

Zakuro would always be my idol.

She would always be my teammate.

She would always be my friend.

She would always be my sister.

But she would never be my lover.
