A cane fell with a clatter behind her, landing to the echoing floor. "Allison." A voice called out—that harsh tone had been with her for years, but never had she heard it echo in such a caring and loving manner. She swallowed deeply and turned on her heel just as the elevator dinged. She glanced back at the man, leaning harder to one side to relieve the pain, never had she seen him spring into step like now. He wasn't walking—He was running towards her, biting his own lip in the pain. With one quick lift she was around his waist for the first time, her lips pressed to his. Files from passing doctors flew to the floor from the shocking reverbs that came from the central scene by the elevator. "I was—and I will always be in love with you." A whisper emerged from House's lips. He was suddenly without pain—suddenly fearless. All the years he had been working with her he had hid his feelings, afraid of his own emotions—but not anymore.
She slid to the floor, her eyes still closed as she held onto his coat collar. "I loved Chase—I also loved you." She mumbled, feeling him kiss her neck gently.
"I've dated a many of woman—but I've never loved anyone but you."
There they were…standing in the spot they had both stepped in along with their team for the past years they were together. She looked into his eyes—for once seeing sincerity. Letting go of Chase was the first step to moving on—Done. Well that was easy. Now it was her turn to run away and be happy for once. "House—." She smiled softly, practically teasing him in the middle of the hospital. She moved her hand slowly down his arm, taking hold of his hand in hers. House stared at the almost scared look on her face. There was no saying goodbye to Allison Cameron—no matter how bad he wanted to over the years…no way was she leaving him without a fight.
Yeah, So I'm not even sure where this came from, I've never really been a Hameron fan but why not give it a try. Review please (:
