AN: This is to make you sad , sort off drabble.
A lone man walked down the dark alley. All around him their was laughter, happiness and so much more. But not for Remus. He had just found out that his funny and charismatic best friend and his beautiful wife had just been killed. He held his breath as he stepped into his lonley house he had once shared with his other friend. He slumped on the floor sobs echoing around the room. Why, why couldn't it be him that was dead? He asked himself as he cried. But that was not the only thing he'd lost. He'd lost his other best friend and another friend. His room mate Sirius Black had killed his friend Peter.
"Sirius, you fucking bastard. If I ever find you I'll kill you" He howled in rage.
He kicked everything around the room. The bangs and cracks of things breaking and falling on the floor was comforting to him. He sounded like the other Remus. The killing one. The uncontrolable one.
Lily and James's funeral took place in Godrics Hollow. Remus sat in the front row, ready to give his speech. When it was time he whispered "I miss you Prongs" before standing up.
"Hello Friends, family and loved ones. Today we have gathered here to mourn the death of two wonderful people" Remus began. "James was one of the most caring people I have ever met. He didn't care about my problem, or that Sirius was a Black or anything. He was kind and never stopped loving Lily. I'm sure James protected and loved her until the end"
"And Lily, where to begin about Lily. She was hot-headed, but sweet. She loved and would never betray her friends and saw the good inside people. She cared about her family and even when her sister bullyed her and ignored her, Lily still loved her. Lily and James were to of the most amazing and kind people I have ever met and I'm glad that I got the chance to be friends with them." Remus finished tears dripping down his face.
After the funeral, once everybody left Remus stayed.
He sat on the grass next to the newly dug grave and cryed. Rain and tears dripped down his face and the eerily quiet church became loud with sobs, howls and great cracks of lightening.
But Remus didn't care, they were his friends, his best ones. And he knew in his heart, that they were still there.
