10 days later, on another beautiful spring morning in the Evergreen Forest, Bert Raccoon came out of the Raccoondominium and opened the mailbox, getting the mail out of there.

"Hmm..." Bert said while going through the mail. "Bills, bills, junk mail, offers... Nothing special I guess". Then he sighs. "Bills, junk mail..." But just then, he found something which caught his interest. "Hey! What's this?". It was an envelope. He turned it over and once he read what was on the back of it, he gasped. "It's a letter from Bentley!".

He quickly went back inside the Raccoondominium, sat on the couch and opened the envelope. After pulling the letter out of it, he began reading it.

Dear, Bert

It's been a week since I left the Evergreen Forest and arrived back home. The reason I send you this letter is because there are some things I should admit to you. Firstly, I should start off by telling you that on my way back home, I kept thinking about you and all the good times we had together. Even now at home I still think about you. At first, I thought I was going to have a bad time with you around, but I guess everything turned out OK after all. Secondly, I wanna thank you again for convincing me that physical activities can also be fun and not just my computer. So from now on, I will divide my time between them. And lastly, I should tell you that after everything you did for me while visiting you, uncle Ralpth and Aunt Melissa, I have started to like you very much. You already know, back home, I don't have any friends and I couldn't make any because I kept having fun with my computer. But you Bert... you offered me the gift of friendship. And for that, I am very grateful to you. I hope we will see each other again some time. I already miss you. And also, tell Uncle Ralph and Aunt Melissa that I love them and miss them too. Looking forward to seeing you all in the future. Take care.

Love Bentley

Bert couldn't believe what Bentley wrote to him. He smiled and tears began to fall from his eyes. "Oh Bentley..." he sniffed. "You don't know how much those words mean to me. Thank you".

The End
