Atlantis
As the tides lapped against the city and the first stars came out in the dark night sky Elizabeth Weir stepped on onto the balcony for her little piece of heaven. Something that would calm her after a long day. She loved the night sky, stars had always amazed her, it made her feel so special to be able to gaze upon, like people millions of years ago did. Words couldn't describe the beauty of them.
As she looked at the stars it was like looking back in time, knowing that the light coming from them was millions of years old.
She'd seen some beautiful night sky's in her time, but never anything as beautiful as the stars she saw here. She knew these stars couldn't be seen on Earth but when she looked up at them she felt as if there was someone on Earth doing the exact same thing as she was.
Earth
Jack looked at the spectacular view in front of him. The reds, blues and greens mixed together in a wonderful explosion of colour. Words couldn't describe the beauty of them.
The stars lit up the night star and Jack briefly entertained the idea of how the stars differed in Pegasus. He wondered if the colour would be as amazing of it would fill him with the same feeling of awe.
He didn't know that but he longed to find out. Longed to look up at the sky above Atlantis and see the spectacular night sky.
He wondered if there was someone on Atlantis doing the exact same thing as he was.
