"Come to dinner Saturday night?" Remus said quietly.

"What?" asked Sirius, breaking his eyes off the ridiculous scene below. James and Peter were playing the muggle game, Twister.

"You heard me, Pads..."

"So?"

Sirius looked uncomfortable, "Erm-"

"Listen, I want us to work out more than anything, but how can we move any farther in our relationship if my own parents disapprove?"

"Simple. Ignore them," Sirius began, "That's what I do."

Remus frowned. Sirius continued, "If you want to play happy family, stay at the Potter's!"

"You know I can't do that,"

"Why not? Why not even occasionally?"

"Because I want this in my own home. I want you to be able to come over, and be just as comfortable there."

"They don't approve, Rem, I can't make them like me! And we both know that's not all they disapprove of."

"They'll get used to the fact that I'm gay if they see how happy we are together!" Remus encouraged.

"You reckon?"

"Definitely."

"Okay... I'll come over. But no funny business...keep your hands off me," he smiled, "If you can."

"We can use Twister as an excuse," Remus added slyly, snaking his hand around Sirius's waist, "But of course, we'll probably end up sleeping in separate rooms, sitting on different couches...probably standing in different rooms."

"Now I know how the Catholic Church feels," laughed Sirius.

"Just don't congregate with them," Remus added jokingly.

"What, with my record?" he asked taken aback, "I'd be kicked out faster than you can say 'gay'."

They both grinned, anxiously waiting for their turn to play.
