Considering how popular these one-shots are getting, and because a lot of people are privately requesting me to do more, I decided to make a multi-chapter fanfiction of The Hiatus Café.

But before we do that, here is one more test for The Hiatus Café. This one is Steven Universe.

Onto the story.

Steven Universe and Sadie were sitting down on a table, recapping what just happened last night.

"Wow, Steven. That was amazing singing you had there." said Sadie.

"Yeah…I guess I did make the crowd go wild." said Steven, eating a donut. "So…are you just gonna wait it out until you're ready to face the crowd?"

"Probably. I don't think I was ready to take it in yet."

"Do you want to practice now?" asked Steven, taking out the ukulele that he brought to the café.

"N-now?!" Sadie quietly panicked. "Steven…do you really want to do it here?"

"I'm sure one try wouldn't hurt." said Steven. He began playing the song with the ukulele.

Sadie grew more and more nervous when the first verse was about to begin, but not wanting to cause a breakdown like last night, she decided to go for it.

I can't help it if I make a scene, stepping out of my hot pink limousine.

Sadie continued to sing, slightly stopping her nervousness. She eventually lost all fear and continued to sing. She got up and began to dance.

I'm turning heads and I'm stopping traffic. When I pose, they scream and when I joke, they laugh.

Some of the other cartoon characters began hearing Sadie sing.

I've got a pair of eyes that they're getting lost in,

Everybody else at the café began hearing Sadie.

They're hypnotized by the way I'm walking,

Everybody slowly turned their heads as Steven continued playing the song and Sadie continued to sing and dance.

I've got them dazzled like a stage magician,

Some of the toons began tapping their feet on the ground to the beat. Some of them clapped their hands to the beat. Some of them snapped their fingers to the beat.

When I point, they look, and when I talk, they listen, well,

The front door opened. Lars and Sadie's mom, Barbara walked in and stopped at their tracks, seeing what Steven and Sadie were doing.

Barbara had a face of complete excite and joy, seeing her daughter sing in front of a crowd, who was loving the music. Lars was a little confused, but liked her singing.

Everybody needs a friend,

Lars realized that he was dancing to the music. Unsurprisingly, Barbara was crazy dancing to the music.

And I got you and you and you.

Lars walked closer and closer to Steven and Sadie. He then began dancing alongside Sadie as Barbara joined the three as well, dancing.

So many, I can't even name them,

The toons continued to snap their fingers, clap their hands and tap their feet to the ground.

Can you blame me? I'm too famous.

The beat got louder and louder as Steven continued playing the music.

Haven't you noticed that I'm a star? I'm coming into view as the world is turning.

Some of the toons in the crowd cheered by whistling. Everybody got up from their seats and were now dancing and cheering.

Haven't you noticed I've made it this far? Now, everyone can see me burning.

The beat continued to get louder and louder, as everybody continued to dance.

Now, everyone can see me burning.

The noise got quieter and quieter and everybody stopped dancing. All that was left was Steven ending the song while Sadie began to finish the song.

Now, everyone can see me burning.

Every single noise stopped. Sadie finally stopped singing while Steven ended the song. As all the toons cheered and clapped wildly for Steven and Sadie, Barbara gave Sadie a thumbs up while Lars hugged Sadie.

"Sadie, that was amazing! Who knew you could sing!" said Lars, letting go of Sadie.

"I know…my daughter is all grown up!" said Barbara, crying tears of joy a little bit. Sadie turned to Steven.

"That wasn't so bad, Steven. In fact, that was awesome!" said Sadie.

"Don't mention it, Sadie. So…you ready to sing next Beach-a-Palooza?" asked Steven.

"Yep. I'm ready." said Sadie. The cheering and clapping stopped and everybody got back to their seats. Lars and Barbara sat next to Steven and Sadie, respectively.

"So, what are you gonna do later?" asked Sadie to Steven.

"I'm planning to go to the bathroom later…"

THE END.

And that was The Hiatus Café – Sadie's Song. This is the final test one-shot. Continuing Hiatus Café shots will all be in a multi-chapter series.
