Uncontrollable Love
A/N: This is just a one shot. Got bored between homeworks. I'm good at that.
Lionblaze POV
Padding silently through the trees, I arrived at the old twoleg nest.
"I thought you were coming sooner. I have been waiting here for ages," mewed the soft voice in the shadows.
"Cinderheart," I breathed, and curled up next to her, purring gently.
I knew she was a special cat, and I knew that I was special too – but in a different way. But when you train together, and then become mentors together, it's kind of hard. I shouldn't be taking a mate like Cinderheart, but it's an uncontrollable love. If I wanted a mate I should have been with Dovewing – she is one of the three, and one of the only ones that know what it is like to be one of the three.
"I love you Cinderheart. We may be the only ones that know that, but there is and always will be a special place in my heart for you," I purred, as we shared tongues and did something that would bond us forever.
"We shall have beautiful kits, Lionblaze. They will be smart and strong like you..." mewed Cinderheart.
"...And they shall be beautiful and courageous like you..."I finished, shutting my eyes and curling even further into her, pushing my nose into her fur.
We fell asleep together...
"Lionblaze! Wake up! You're on the dawn patrol, remember? It will soon be dawn, and we need to get you back to camp through the dirtplace," laughed Cinderheart, and she tumbled on her back to continue laughing.
I wrinkled my nose. The Dirtplace? I've had plenty of experiences there, and believe me, they ent good.
"I'll hunt on the way. We need to make sure that no one knows that we were together last night. I'll scatter our moss and you go!" She called commandingly.
I shrugged and whispered in her ear, "There will always be a place in my heart for you." And I faded into the shadows of the forest, clutching on to the memory of our wonderful night.
Kits, I thought. It will be so wonderful. But no one shall know we are together, I thought sadly. No one will know the fierce love we have for each other...No one will ever know...
