Author' s note: I wasn't planning on doing a songfic at first, but this song was so beautiful and I had this story in my head. Anyway, I used to not listen to the song while reading a songfic but I tried it a few days ago and it makes the story a lot better so I advise you to listen to it while reading. I listened to this song like 20 times. Well, on with the story!

Clary lay on her bed, sobbing into her pillow."How could you ever think that?" he had said, His voice echoed in hger head. She felt guilt all over her. She hadn't even let him explain, instead just jumped to just turned her back and ran.
*Flashback*
"You can't tell Clary," Jace warned Alec. He didn't want Clary to worry. Clary felt herself tense and curled her hand into a fist as she stormed into the room. She slapped him across the face. Jace looked at her with a look of shock and hurt.
"It's over!"she shouted.
"Clary-please," he begged, pulling her back as she tried to go. She pulled herself away from his grip and ran, turning her back on him.
*End of Flashback*
"I know I let you down, but it's not like that now, This time I'll never let you go, I will be all that you want, and get this all together, cuz you keep me from falling apart, All my life, I'll be with you forever to get you through the day, and make everything okay"
*Flashback*
"How can you do that?" Isabelle asked honestly didn't know. "He didn't want you to worry, didn't want to hurt you. You didn't even let him explain. Angel, you even slapped him, Now he's lying in the infirmary, I don't even know if he'll live, he just threw himself at the demons, not caring if he dies. Why Clary? What did he ever do to you? " Isabelle was shaking her now. More tears fell down Clary's cheeks like a cascading waterfall.
*End of Flashback*
"I thought that I had everything, I didn't know what life could bring, but now I see, honestly, you're the one thing I got right, hte only one I let inside, now I can breathe, cuz you're here with me, and if I let you down, I'll turn it all around, cuz I would never let you go."
*Present day- 2 weeks from flashbacks (Clary on the street)*
She had to go apoligize. She knew she had to make things right. She couldn't make it up to him, but hopefully he'd forgive her. Clary ran as fast as her feet could take her through the busy streets of New stared, but she didn't care. She crashed through the doors of the institute. Running past Alec and Isabelle's surprised faces, she reached her destination. Jace got up from his previous position on the bed because of his healing injuries at the sight of Clary. "Clary, what-"he began, but got cut off by her crashing into him. She kissed him, and smiled against his lips when he kissed back. After a few moments, she had to let go for air, but kept her arms around him. She heard clapping, but she ignored it, too wrapped up in her own personal fairytale. She breathed in the smell of him against his shirt. He was once again her Jace. Her angel.
