It has come to my attention, mainly from TheBrokenBottle, that our beloved Voice Actor, Writer, Lead Animator, Writer, Creator, and man of many talents Monty Oum had died. Frankly, as I write this between classes in college, I am using this time to rally us writers.
Whether we we have no writing experience or are the next greatest authors in development, I believe we owe it to Monty to continue writing, if not for his sake, then our own. Our world, as much as Remnant, is a beautiful place with equally beautiful minds and souls. I am going to take this time to reflect on my own writings and continue writing.
As as we know it, the fate of RWBY is unknown. It may end here, have another season, or continue on with the remaining cast and crew. If nothing else, writing these stories have held a place in my heart since I started reading this silly thing called "fanfiction" nearly a year ago. I urge you all, readers, writers, editors, artists of all kinds, to continue doing your best work.
If you all have not read it yet, TheBrokenBottle proposes a communal masterwork for RWBY. I have volunteered to do so with what little time and experience I do have. I do not urge you to do the same, but, if you desire to, reply to TheBrokenBottle's post or PM them.
