To the Attention of
Dr. Carson Beckett

Miss Chloe McMurphy
34b Hallways Drive,
Kingsmead road.
Edinburgh.

Carson,

I am sorry that I left you all those years ago, it was wrong of me but I was scared, scared of what you would think of me if you knew the truth. I have just found out that I have leukemia. It has made me realise that you were not a mistake in my life, I've always loved you and I always will remember you because you gave me a gift of life; Your daughter.

Her name is Jasmine Carley Beckett; I thought it was best if she took your name. She has just turned eighteen and has just finished her masters degree is physics. She is beautiful, which she gets from you mostly. She is very intelligent, we have a little inside joke that she could be the next Steven Hawking. Jasmine has your big blue eyes, the same ones that I fell in love with when I met you. Because of my illness I'm not sure how long I have with her and I wanted you to know about her before I pass on. I have left you in custody of her when I die, she doesn't know about you yet, I thought it'll be best for you to tell her all of the stories, She will like to hear them. She reminds me greatly of you her; Her laugh is the same, Her nose and even her teeth slightly part at the front, Just like yours. You will love her Carson, She is my miracle, I hope she can be yours too.

Best regards,

C . McMurphy
