Papa Don't Preach

A/N: Hey! Yes... I know. I know. I'm sorry. Here, have this to tide you over while I get ideas for FTS, write up TMV and find my shit for LPG...
Seventeen-year-old Roseanne "Rose" Weasley stood outside her father's study in the home, worrying her bottom lip and wringing her hands. She took a deep breath, she was a Gryffindor, and gathered her courage.
"Dad?" Rose called, knocking on the door.
"Come in, Rosie!" Ron called back, putting aside his work.
Papa, I know you're going to be upset...
Rose sat opposite her father, avoiding his eyes as she tried to figure out how to start.
Cause I was always your little girl.
"Rosie?" Ron pressed, frowning worriedly.
But you should know by now, I'm not a baby...
"You always taught me right from wrong," Rose started, swallowing. "I need your help."
Daddy, please be strong..."
Ron frowned deeper and he moved to sit next to his daughter. "Always, Rosie, what is it?"
"I... I may be young at heart, but... but I know what I'm saying," Rose continued.
"What?" Ron asked. "Rosie... what is it, splodge?"
"Scorpius Malfoy... the one you warned me all about..."
The one you said I could do with out...
Ron nodded stiffly, frowning.
Rose let out a tiny sniffle, biting her lip. "We're in an awful mess, Daddy... and I don't mean maybe..."
Papa don't preach,
"I'm in trouble deep," Rose admitted.
Papa don't preach,
"I've been losing sleep," she continued. "But I've made up my mind."
Ron rose an eyebrow.
"I'm keeping my baby."
Ron looked thunderous, looking at his daughter.
"He says that he's going to marry me," Rose put in quickly.
And we can raise a little family.
"Maybe we'll be alright," Rose said quietly.
"It's a sacrifice," Ron sighed.
But..
"My friends keep telling me to give it up," Rose sniffled.
"Why?" Ron asked, holding his daughter close.
"Saying I'm too young," Rose nuzzled into her father's embrace.
I'll never live it up.
"What I need right now is some good advice," the curly-haired brunette girl sighed. "Please."
Papa don't preach, I'm in trouble deep.
Papa don't preach, I've been losing sleep.
Ron stroked his daughter's hair, pondering the decision.
I made up my mind, I'm keeping my baby. I'm gonna keep my baby.
"Daddy. Daddy, if you could only see how good he's been treating me," Rose protested. "You'll give us your blessing, cause we're in love."
We are in love, so please...
Ron gave a skeptical snort.
Papa don't preach, I'm trouble deep.
Papa don't preach, I've been losing sleep.
"Don't stop loving me Daddy," Rose pleaded quietly. "I know, I know, I'm keeping my baby."
Ron hummed, far away in thought.
"Don't stop loving me Daddy," Rose repeated.
I know, I know, I'm keeping my baby...
Ron licked his lips and looked at his baby girl. "If you love each other, who am I to stand in the way?"
Rose gave a grin and hugged her father tightly.
"Now we just have to figure out how to tell your Grandma Molly that she's going to be a great-grandmother."
Rose gave a watery laugh.
A/N: Aww, sweet. That's the Kelly Osbourne cover of Madonna's Papa Don't Preach. I was going to go with Lily Luna and a random OC but thought this would be so much better.
