It was a dark but warm evening in LA , the stars glistened bright, lighting up and contrasting with pitch velvet blue sky.
as for the other stars, Sonny was walking along the sandy shores, letting the warm winds dance through
her hair, a smile on her face, her eyes closed and she took a deep breath, enjoying the tranquility of the sea.
but all too soon she was snapped out of her thoughts as she heard a second pair of feet on the sand.
Chad Dylan Cooper.
"What are you doing here Chad?"
"I could ask you the same thing munroe, but fine i'll be leaving"
Chad was just about to turn on his heel when he heard Sonny shout, a smirk appeared on his face.
"NO! ... i mean..please just stay...i didn't mean to-it- i'm sorry" she said giving up, she could say no more, it was Chad Dylan Cooper for goodness sakes, she couldn't stay mad at him.
Chad turned back around and towards Sonny
"look Chad, i'm sorry, i'm just-alone, my mom just went want to Wisconsin today, and i didn't want to go back to an empty house, so i came here"
"Hey its ok, and your alone here to, whats the difference?"
"i like the sound of the waves, in my house its just complete silence"
"Come on" Chad said offering Sonny a hand "lets go for a walk" Sonny took Chads hand they kept a hold while walking through the light winds passing them.
"Why are you being nice Chad?"
hearing this question Chad has hault to stop, and turned to face Sonny. he shrugged not knowing what to say, but then out came words "i've always been nice really, just i use a bad boy act, to cover up what i'm really feeling, what i'm feeling now"
"Oh, and what do you feel now?" Sonny said looking into Chads eyes
"You really wanna know? ...well *sigh* i feel love"
Sonnys eyebrows knitted in confused and Chad picked up on this,
"ok in English this time" Sonny swatted Chad playfully and smirked, but that smile vanished when Chad opened his mouth again " it means...well...i think i'm in love"
"Oh" Sonny said a little disappointed thinking it was someone else other than her, Chad smiked knowing that would her reaction
"In love with you Sonny" Sonnys head immediatly snapped back up and her mouth was agape with shock, but quickly replaced with a huge grin "i love you to Chad" they looked into each others eyes and then Chad smoothly and slowly closed the Gap between Himself and Sonny and planted a sweet, meaning full kiss, but all too soon pulled away, making Sonny want more, so before Chad could back away anymore she pulled him back in for another kiss.
after what seemed like forever, they pulled away, with big smiles on there faces, and continued there walk hand in hand down the soft breezed shores.
"Oh and Sonny?"
"mh?"
"Velvet blue skys alight
from the glisting stars that shine so bright
they never need to put up a fight
for they brighten the whole entire night
and even from up a height
i will wish, so very tight
that you will be my girlfriend tonight?"
Sonny had tears in her eyes, but the moon made her face glow, but she didn't have to say a word, she nodded slowly with a smile on her face, and for the last time, before decending into the night, kissed Chad.
