AN: Ok scary thought having Cass and I live together because my mind runs rampant. We joke and then I come up with random story ideas! So this one was when we were watching reruns of Penelope last night and Cassie pointed out Emily was holding her gun the whole time the IA rep was there, so of course… Emily's pro/con list as to shooting him! Enjoy!

Pro: He would leave Garcia alone. I mean the girl was shot and here he was investigating her for trying to protect her family. Now granted, Garcia shouldn't have encrypted the file because that just looks like she was trying to hide something, but still, once she told everyone why did she need to be investigated?
Con: She would have to clean up his blood. That would not be fun. Blood is a pain to get out of the carpet and it would be all over her clothes and that would suck especially since she was wearing her favorite shirt.
Pro: The IA would be down a person to investigate police and FBI agents. I mean really? How low on the totem pole do you have to be to investigate your friends? Your coworkers? People who protect the streets for his family? I mean that is just wrong on so many levels.
Con: She'd have to deal with a guilty conscious. Not that the guy didn't deserve it, but really it was taking another human being's life. She just couldn't do that. Not to him or anyone else. Even an unsub she would have to live with the guilt that would eat at her. She hated that feeling. She had done it before and still felt guilty to this day.
Thank goodness he left the room before she could come up with another pro. The way he was looking at her gave her enough reason for her to shoot him, but the blood was just not a pretty option. She sighed as he left the room, Lynch in tow.
"Claws away" JJ commented smirking at one of her best friends. Emily sighed and moved her hand from her gun.
"I was so close to shooting him JJ, so close it wasn't even funny" Emily said. JJ smirked again.
"I know. Your hand was closing around the gun faster than I've ever seen before. You just need to remember we will vindicate her. Garcia will be fine" JJ said. Emily nodded tightly.
"I know that, but if he hadn't have left when he did, his balls would have been our new decoration" Emily said as she and JJ left the conference room. JJ bust out in laughter. Man she loved her friends.
"Just think, you compartmentalize better than the rest of us" JJ said. Emily smirked.
"That's the only thing that saved him" she responded. Both girls walked through the bullpen laughing while two superior agents stood on the catwalk watching them.
