Hey guys! Yes, I am writing about Tomb Raider again (teehee!) **BEWARE: POTENTIAL SPOILERS** This is based on the upcoming game Tomb Raider. I'm using the whole "ship crashed & she must survive at all costs" aspect, but the rest is pure imagination! :) I know this chapter is REALLY short but I wanted something short and sweet So let me know how you like (or don't like) it! R&R and have fun! Also, Irikah is my own creation (she's Lara's twin sister!). This may be scary to some, as there (in this story) will be major horror scenes that may not appeal to some. If you are easily scared and/or have a weak stomach, please don't read! DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT (unfortunately) own Tomb Raider. ya'llz

I watched my sister die at that moment. I'll never forget that horrible sight as they tore her stomach open as she was still alive, screaming in such a way that would haunt me forever. They would feast on her that night; a rare delicacy to them. She died slowly, painfully, like it was some sort of sick game to them. They cut off her head, kept it as a trophy, smacking it onto a spike and stood it in front of their village to show off. I wish I could have saved her, or to never find her at all. It would have been better that way, thinking she drowned during the storm. I wonder what went through her mind as they ate her, or maybe she was gone by then, just a vegetable unconscious of her surroundings.

I was frozen there, standing not too far off from where they were feeding off of Irikah. What would I tell mother and father when I made it back…if I made it back? This was a dream, it had to have been. I remembered when we used to joke and smile widely at perverted humour. Her face was a portrait of beauty, now it was of horror and pain beyond description. I barely recognized her; I didn't want to recognize her.

They found me; I was going to be next. But as much as I didn't want to live through this nightmare anymore, fear and my subconscious took over, telling me to move – and fast. They smiled gruesomely at me, scanning my body as I stood there dumbfounded. It was at that moment when I finally listened to my body and dashed out of there, running full speed, adrenaline pumping, mind blank. There was only one thing I knew at that moment: survive. Their tribal chanting grew loud as they chased after me like a wild pack of wolves chasing after a deer. My mind forebode me from looking back; there was no time for idiocy.

Water. I smelt its stench as I approached a small river leading to the ocean. It spelt danger just jumping in and swimming to the cliff, I might as well just have stopped and let them pin me down with their spears. And so, passing the little river, I sprinted onwards, my energy depleting faster than I liked. They were gaining on me as I ran slower and slower. My head felt light, my body wanted to collapse, but I kept running. There would be rest later – the kind I wanted, not the kind the cannibals would have liked.

There beyond a large patch of thick foliage, was the cliff I desired. If I was going to die, it'd be by water, not like the way my unfortunate sister died. Closing my eyes, I leapt off of the cliff, plunging downwards into the unknown. I felt sharp pain and water.

It all went blurry after that.
