Risks

"Hinata Hyuuga" Called her English teacher Kakashi Hatake "Please come up and read your essay"

Slowly Hinata stood up from her seat at the back of the class room.

Making her way down to the front, stepping over Sakura Harano's foot when she stuck it out, trying to trip her up.

Hinata's best friends Kiba and Ino, glared at Sakura daring her to do it again.

When Hinata was at the front she blinked up at her Sensei who in turn was grinning down at his best student, only matched by three guys, Sai, Lee and Sasuke.

"Whenever your ready Hinata - Chan"

Nodding her head, Hinata turned to the semi silent class ignoring the giggles that came from the cheerleaders Sakura and Temari.

Clearing her throat, Hinata began.

"I. It's called r..risks"

Blushing hard Hinata looked down and began to read.

"To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.

To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.

To reach out to another is to risk involvement

To place your ideas, your dreams before the crowd is to risk their loss.

To live is to risk dying

To try is to risk failure

But risks be taking because the greatest risk in life is to risk nothing

The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, and is nothing.

You may avoid suffering and sorrow, but you simply cannot learn, feel,

Change, grow, love, live.

Chained by your certitudes you are a slave you have forfeited freedom.

Only a person who risks is truly free."

Hinata stood silently for a minuet, but her head shot up when she head clapping from the back of the room.

Sai and Shino were slowly clapping their hands together.

Kakashi smiled when Kiba and Ino started cheering, Naruto soon fallowed.

"Yeah Hinata, that was amazing" Said the grinning blonde "Believe It"

Hinata blushed crimson and headed back to her desk.

"That was very good Hinata - Chan" Kakashi said while grinning

"Next Sai - Kun"

Before Sai got up he leaned down to Hinata's ear "Very, very good mousey - Chan" he whispered "Perhaps you should take your own advice and take a risk."

Standing up straight, Sai walked slowly towards his sensei, ignoring the glares from Sandman (Garra), Emo Boy (Sasuke), Dog - Licker (Kiba), Dickless (Naruto) and Drag - Queen (Neji)
