Jet didn't usually wake up in a good mood. But then again, he didn't usually enjoy having Albert Heinrich lying next to him when he did.

He folded his arms behind his head, not ready to leave bed just yet. As nice as it all was, it was still... well, weird. This wasn't in character for him. He liked keeping people at a distance so he could size them up to see if they were a threat or not. But it was different with Albert. He had never been able to set up a defense strong enough. It'd been only a matter of time until Albert managed to break them down completely.

There were a lot factors that led them to sharing a bed together, but Jet was pretty certain the one that had done him in were his eyes. They were blue. Perfectly blue, impossibly blue, almost too blue. He had never seen that shade of blue in a person's eyes before. And when Albert looked at him with those eyes... he was always caught off guard.

He almost didn't notice the kiss pressed against his shoulder. "Morning. What time is it?"

Jet reached over for the alarm clock. "A little after eleven."

"I slept in that late? Guess I'm spending too much time around you." He didn't sound upset. If anything, he sounded amused.

"Eh, speak for yourself. I'm going back to bed." Jet tossed the blanket over his head. He didn't want to look at Albert right now, because he had a feeling if he did they'd wind up repeating what they did last night, and he really did need some sleep.

But once he did wake up, he knew he would look him right in the eyes.
