The Difference Between Black and White

By ShadowCloud62

Summary: Ed is like the color black: introverted and very mysterious. Al is like the color white: pure and kind. Black and white could never be more different.

Just like his attire, Ed was like the color black.

Black always appears dark and mysterious in the human eye, always introverted, kept things inside, not telling a thing.

Edward Elric was just like this. Introverted, mysterious, and very rarely would he show emotion. Black seemed harsh, yet maintained an alluring yet mysterious beauty to it. Edward also had these traits.

Sure, Ed was stubborn, Ed had a short temper, Ed might have been cold sometimes. But when he's caught in one of those moments he's very kind, very caring. However, these moments are rare. Rarely do you see Edward crying or laughing.

The color black is a serious color. Stubborn on its own, mysterious, and introverted.

Edward Elric was just like the color black, in such a strange way.

Alphonse Elric was like the color white.

White always appears pleasant and inviting in the human eye, kind yet a little naive.

Alphonse had this personality. He was always kind to others, unless they did he or his brother harm. He never had anything bad to say about anyone. Of course, there was also his consideration for animals, specifically kittens.

However, Al could be naive sometimes, making him an easy target for villains and people to take advantage of him. The color white seemed to be the same way.

Al was a pure, cherished soul, never thinking of himself, just like the color white. Alphonse was selfless, always putting other people's well-being first. Always putting his friends first. Always putting his older brother first before anyone.

Alphonse Elric was just like the color white, in such a strange way.

I'm done with this. It's a one-shot for a reason. And don't ask where I got this weird idea. It just came to me when I was eating dinner. Personally, this idea is one of my weird ones. O.o
