Just a little one-shot about what it would have been like if Raphael hadn't been killed by Sebastian and offered his life to Asmodeusu instead of Simon.

"I am willing"
That wasn't Magnus' voice, but Raphael's. "What are you doing!?" Magnus exclaimed. Raphael didn't look at him, he didn't look at anybody but answered anyways, "I'm a vampire. I'm immortal. Take my life."
Asmodeus gave an amused grip, "Well, well.. this is unexpected, but welcome."
Simon stepped forward, "Raphael, think about this. The clan, what will happen to it?"
"Lily will take over, she's capable and not loyal to Maureen," finally he turned around to look at them.
Magnus tried to change his father's mind, "He's too young, he shouldn't pay for this." Asmodeus ignored his son.
Alec was conflicted. He wanted Magnus back, he didn't want the love of his life dead. But then again, Raphael owed them nothing and here he was saving them. Alec looked at Isabelle and Jace, they too seemed to be startled at the turn of events, but they too preferred Magnus to Raphael/
Asmodeus sighed, "Come on then, I don't have eternity. Well..actually I do but…" he made a motion of pointing at his wrist, as if he were pointing at a watch.
Raphael looked at Simon, "You always were a terrible vampire, I won't miss you. I hope this experience teaches you a lesson. Also, stay clear from Lili's path."
He then looked at Clary, Isabelle, and Jace, "Be better than your ancestors and make peace, not war. Thank you, Clary Fray, for killing Jonathan and saving my kind."
To Alec he said, "Take care of Magnus, and don't get yourself killed. You could be a great Inquisitor one day."
Alec seemed shocked, he had never considered becoming an Inquisitor, but now that he thought about it, it seemed a pretty attractive idea.
Magnus had a few tears down his face, but his expression was nearly blank. Raphael too, seemed to be fighting back a few tears, he looked scared more than anything. He took his cross from his neck and offered it to the warlock, "Take it to my mother. Let her know I'll be okay," they both knew it wasn't true, but hey.."Thank you Magnus, for saving me when I couldn't save myself. never change and be happy with your cazador de sombras."
Alec put an arm around Magnus as the latter clutched the cross to his chest. Raphael took a deep breath and turned, "I'm ready."
There was a flash of light, a scream, and that was that.
