Riza Hawkeye was carrying paperwork to Roy Mustang. She secretly dreaded it because she knew that is meant she had to spend the rest of the afternoon getting him to work on it. Lazy basted…
Instead of finding Mustang she found Winry Rockbell in his office.
"Oh, Ms.Rockbell," Riza said casually nodding her head. Winry had gotten to be a regular around the headquarters, as Edward Elric was preparing for his next evaluation. Ms.Rockbell wanted to visit him, but Elric always hid.
Ms.Rockbell turned her face somewhat sad.
"I can't seem to find him today. I thought he'd be in here…" She sighed "I'd better go. Maybe I'll see you tomorrow Lieutenant Hawkeye." Riza nodded, but then she thought of something.
"Have you seen Colonel Mustang?" she inquired.
"I saw him a little while ago; I told him you had some paper work for him."
"How long ago was that?" Riza asked, wincing.
"An hour I think, haven't seen him since."
Riza groaned and let Winry leave. An hour… That would give the slaker time to pick a really good hiding place, she'd never find him. But it was her duty to find him, and she would.
