Prompts: Save The Girl, Save The World

Pairing: Lucy Lorcan

Being with her makes him feel like he is saving the girl.

Like in the muggle superhero movies Hugo would make him watch. Hugo just liked muggle anything, especially muggle movies. Lorcan however liked the superhero movies the best. They all seemed the same on the surface, a man with crazy powers who defeats the creepy villain, saving the world and saving the girl in the process.

Though Lorcan would never really be super at anything and he knew it. Teddy was the painter, Hugo was smart with the confusing muggle technology, Louis had the beauty coming from his Veela mother, Fred had his Quidditch skills making him the best athlete, James Sirius had his jokes that could crack anyone up, Albus was one of the most talented wizards of his time, taking after his father, aka 'Harry Potter: The Greatest Wizard In The World'; and his own twin brother, Lysander, was the musician who could make beautiful, heart breaking songs with a few swishes of his hand on guitar strings.

And where did that leave Lorcan? An average Gryffindor with average grades and average Quidditch skills. Nothing more, nothing less.

But Lucy was oh-so different and oh-so amazing. She was a Slytherin but not one of the loud obnoxious ones like Lily Luna. Or the ones that would manipulate everyone for their own purposes like Dominique. Lucy was different.

And since his mom was close with her parent's family, Lorcan knew Lucy had her own share of problems (and to be honest, Molly could never keep a secret from the school). Lucy was argumentative with her divorced parents, constantly bickering, constantly fighting. She was always running away to a muggle hotel after every fight so often that it had become old news.

But being around Lucy made Lorcan feel special.

Maybe he will never be the one to save the world but maybe, just maybe he would be the one to save the girl.

It was just too bad that Lucy, forever stubborn, never wanted to be saved.

Even from the boy who would try the hardest.
