Hiding Away

"Soubi" the young boy barely said his Fighter's name above a whisper. His cat ears twitched slightly waiting for a response. Soubi smiled slightly as the young boy, his sapphire-blue eyes meeting Ritsuka's shy violet gaze. "Yes, Ritsuka?" Soubi said, urging the boy to go on.

Suddenly the man felt two small, warm arms wrap around his waist. Soubi looked down to find the boy's face hidden away in the man's chest. The boy's ears rested down now. Soubi caressed the black silky hair, that was now ruffled and messy, sticking out in odd angles. Soubi frowned at the young sacrifice, even though the strange embrace brought a tempting smile on his peach lips. "Ritsuka tell me what's wrong…I can fix it" Soubi said in a comforting voice, his long artistic fingers still combing through the boy's hair.

"Stop lying…don't say things unless you really mean it" a small muffled voice came out from the neko boy, his tail twitched. Soubi's eyebrows turned up in concern for the young sacrifice, his facial features turning into a pained expression, but quickly the mask of calm had resurfaced back to his face. His dear Ritsuka hurts him so.

Soubi gently grabbed the boy's face, forcing Ritsuka to look at him. His hand softly caressed the boy's face. Ritsuka's face stained with blush, but his soft, rose lips kept silent. Not daring to speak.

"Ritsuka, please tell me what's wrong, let me share your pain…you're my sacrifice, Ritsuka" Soubi said in anguish, grabbing Ritsuka's hand and placing it on his own cheek. His long light brown hair falling into his face. Wishing that his and Ritsuka's bond were stronger. That they were connected, so they could share the pain together.

Then the two words fell out of Ritsuka's lips. "I'm scared."
