Interruption
It was a beautiful autumn day. There was a slight breeze blowing through the trees and the setting sun made everything more orange than it already was. Kenshin has spent the day walking through the forest, his shoes crunches the fallen leaves. He was making his way back to the house, Kaoru would probably yell at him for not training with Yahiko today, but he didn't really mind. He wanted to appreciate nature at the moment.
When he arrived back the house was empty. He looked through each room crying out names, but not an answer came. He wrinkled his noise, looking into Kaoru's empty bedroom and said to himself, "Where have they all gone, I wonder." He wandered outside, still searching and heard furious giggles. They were incredibly faint, making Kenshin assume they were from far away. He clenched the handle of his sword, just to be safe, and wandered in the direction of the giggling.
The laughter seemed to be coming from the hot springs. Kenshin sighed before turning the corner to the baths, thinking it must be Kaoru and Megumi. But when the giggling continued they were not those of females, they sounded like men. Now Kenshin was confused, this was girl's hot spring, the boy's was on the other side. He peeked over and saw Sanosuke and Yahiko staring through two small chips in the wooden fence.
"What are you doing?" Kenshin said, revealing his presence, and walking towards the boys.
Yahiko jumped silently, Sanosuke just waved, still transfixed at what ever was behind the fence. "Um... nothing! Nothing, Kenshin, go away." Yahiko said nervously.
Kenshin didn't walk away. He stared at the two boys, Sanosuke had now turned and was glaring at him. "Kenshin, we're not doing anything, go away."
"You look like you're watching something, that you do," Kenshin said slowly, slightly angry. He wasn't stupid.
"Well, you just so happen to be wrong," Yahiko said, matt-of-factly.
Kenshin sighed, approached the two boys and moved them out of the way. He lead his violet eye to the chip in the wood and gazed through into the bath. Megumi and Kaoru were bathing. Kenshin suddenly turned red and pushed against the fence to stand himself up. The fence came close to caving.
Sanosuke took this opportunity to push Kenshin forward against the already limp fence, causing Kenshin to topple over, along with the fence, into the bath. The large wood plank was floating around in the warm water, Kenshin a top of it. He lifted his head up and looked at the two naked bathing girls.
"WAAAAAAH! KENSHIN!" Kaoru screamed throwing a bucket at him. It hit him square in the face, sending him flying back to where Yahiko and Sanosuke were. They had taken this chance to run.
"No, Miss Kaoru, you don't understand!" Kenshin said, trying to stand up, but Megumi and Kaoru had already flung any loose item they had at his face, keeping him glued to the grass.
Finally, Kenshin found that the objects ceased and he was able to sit up... only to see that the girls had left. Kenshin fell back down sadly, opening his eyes, he saw above him, Yahiko and Sanosuke.
"That's what you get for interrupting our fun." Sanosuke said with a grin.
