Dark Wood Circus
In the woods
Deep in the darkness
There it lies
The dark circus.
I watched as the children came in to look at everyone and listen to my sister's song not really understanding the words. They watched as the 'actors' came onto the stage and the light hit them.
The chairman
With his wide eyes
And stilted height
Of ten meters.
They saw the chairman and watched him in awe. Wondering if everyone here was a freak in their own way. I sighed as she continued her song.
The actors
Trampled and misshapen.
Their bodies
Odd but also
Very
Entertaining.
At the cirus
Deep in the dark woods.
The kids watched in suspense as they came up onto the stage not seeing what they look like yet.
A two headed person ----show
They shined the light on a girl with blonde hair that looks just like anyone else just with another head…. Her twin will stay with her the rest of her life. I hear them laugh at her.
A singing chimera wonder
They show my sister. Her legs don't look right… that's all that's wrong. So why did they sell us to this cruel place.
Something that eats his own kind
A blue beast that you see here.
I watch as they show one of my friends at a table and they gave him two arms as he smiled. He could finally get his meal.
We never hoped for this life
That a cruel god gave to us
Why do people watch me with eyes that say
"A decaying face!"
We all look at them as they ignore that line and wait to see the rest of us. We all look down wanting to be free.
It's painful

But still it goes
The circus goes without any reguard to what we feel.
We can all feel the pain around us under your mocking stares. You only make fun of us because you want to feel better. Would you still laugh if you had to go through the same thing?

You think we're having fun don't you? Would you enjoy the life as a misfit being thrown and laughed at by people who don't even know you? I think you'd think differently if you were in our position and us in yours.

We just want this misery to end. You wont end it no one will. We will suffer this life forever. Do you realize we were born this way we never had a choice. We want our suffering to end. Please end it for us. Wouldn't you want the same if you were in our position? Think of it as saving us.
