Disclaimer: Riight, of course I'm J.K. Rowling. Or not.
AN: Okay, this is the very first of my stories I've shown to the 'public'. Well, actually it's just a small (very small!) drabble (is that what it's called?) of mine, never meant to be shown to anyone. Why did I put it up here then? Mostly because I wanted your opinion on my writing style, grammar and spelling before I write something serious. So be nice and tell me what you think!
Hogwarts; A Castle Tale
So you're back. What do you want this time? Another story? Well, I can manage that, I think. What, stones don't think? Of course we do, it's just a myth those humans started that we can't. Why shouldn't we, I say!
Well, back on track, what was it you wanted again? Ohh, a story, yes I remember now.
Let's start it as all good stories do;
Once upon a time, in what the humans call the Middle Ages, four young wizards and witches tried to build a place for youngsters to learn the noble art of magic. Helga Hufflepuff, a loyal, but quite clumsy young lady, Rowena Ravenclaw, a woman who constantly obsessed over her work, Godric Gryffindor, a brave, but foolish young man, and last but not least, Salazar Slytherin, a man of great cunning, but unfortunately, a not-so-great intelligence.
Yes, laugh all you want but I'm not lying! Oh, you've heard otherwise, have you? Maybe you've heard that they were all quite perfect, and beautifully dedicated to their case? Well, they weren't. Actually they were pressured into the deal. But that's a whole other story, one we aren't getting into now.
As said they tried to build a place for people to learn magic. And yes, I mean tried. Of course they build a castle, infused with lots of powerful spells, (although they did had some problems - I'll never forget that time Rowena accidentally turned Godric into a sheep. It took them months to get him back!) but all in all it went well. Of course there were the whole thing about the children actually paying attention and learning something, but they accepted that children just doesn't pay attention to things like that, although it took some time.
It was a success. Of course there were the occasional not-so-good thing, for example the incident were Salazar accidentally lighted the entire Astronomy Tower (plus Godric, of course) on fire, but apart from little things like that, everything was peachy.
And life went on (for a time anyway; humans tend to die pretty quickly) and everyone was happy (well, sort of) and that's the end of this story.
What do you mean it's a lousy story?!
Hey, come back here!
Finished.
AN: I told you it was short.
