Tick

Tick

Tick…tick….tick….

Silence, a painful calm. Inevitable doom, a bomb. Itex' final downfall was at hand, the bomb ticking down to Fang's death. No point in trying to escape, he'd be dead by the time he picked the lock on his cell. The flock was free, that was all that mattered to him, and the fact that Max was alive. One thing pierced his mask, all his years of being the flocks' rock. The fact that he never got to tell Max how he really felt.

Tick…tick….tick….

Fang sank down against the wall, a single tear slipped down his filthy cheek, all these years of torture and running over, in a few minutes. Once the timer stopped, Itex would be destroyed for good. Fang would be as well. Of course no one would miss him, he's just a emotionless freak, nothing more nothing less, a necessary sacrifice. He wouldn't be missed. Fang thought back to his memories, they ran through his head in black and white.

FANG POV

Yeah I guess this is it for me. I know it's hard to face death, but I've been ready all my life. I looked over at the bomb. Bittersweet. If you have ever knew what it was like to know you would die, before the next hour. You think you would be scared shitless huh?

Well actually, it's pretty calming. Before you go all "OMFG FANG WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU!" Well why don't you ask what isn't wrong. I just wish I had a little longer, but I decided I'm going to enjoy my last moments. I have nothing more to say, oh and if you see Max tell her my last words were "I love you Max" as if anyone's going to read this anyway.

End of Fang POV

The bomb had two minutes left. The flock weren't going to come. They abandoned him. Well no one cared about Fang. Fang was just a shell, he didn't need anyone.

Tick…tick…tick…bang.
