Should Have Known

M-21 raised his eyebrow at the piece of paper Tao had held up in front of him. "What is that?" Because that header couldn't be right, but this was Tao, so he probably wasn't misreading.
"Exactly what it says on the tin-"
Shit.
"-it's a contract to have fun." Tao emphasised that word heavily, like M-21 didn't know it existed. "So all you have to do is sign here-" Tao pointed at the dotted line with the pen he'd been twirling between his fingers. "-and then we're good to go."
"Where?" M-21 asked him warily, not moving to take the pen. Because, again, this was Tao, and if a person didn't get clarification from Tao first, it was their own damn fault when they got roped into something they'd accidently agreed to. Unless they'd already known and Tao dragged them into it anyway.
"Aaanywhere," Tao said, grinning. "Come on!" He waved the pen. "It's not like I'm going to eat your soul or anything."
"My soul being eaten and keeping my mind in one piece are two different things." While Tao squawked, M-21 skimmed the rest of the text and… "No. You are not making me sing." That was only the first one on the list.
Tao huffed, puffing up his cheeks. "And those are examples. There's a ton of other stuff we could do."
M-21 just gazed at him, trying to understand what Tao was doing. "Why is this so important?"
"Weeell, there's a couple of health benefits to it, but it's mostly so I can be sure you actually relax." Tao waggled the paper again.
Was that it? If that was the case… "I'm not signing it." He crossed his arms.
Tao opened his mouth, then studied him with narrowed eyes. "That wasn't a no…"
"It wasn't."
The look disappeared and Tao beamed at him. "Ha! Okay, great!" Tao balled the piece of paper and stuck it into a pocket. "Takeo and Miss Seira have already signed theirs, and now you're on board convincing Regis'll be even easier!"
…He should have known Tao would have done this with the others.
He should have known the others would have agreed to it as well…
