He knew she was jealous
She knew she should stay away from him.
She knew he would only hurt her.
She knew he loved no one but himself
She knew he usually acted cold hearted.
She knew she loved him.
He knew he should leave her alone.
He knew the others would kill him for his actions.
He knew she was innocent and naïve.
He knew she loved him.
He knew he cared for her, as much as he was able.
She wanted to go to him.
She wanted to stay away.
She wanted to hold him close.
She wanted to hold him at arms length.
She wanted him.
He wanted to love her.
He wanted to give her the life she deserved.
He wanted to change for her.
He wanted to hold her close.
He wanted her.
She went to him.
He held her close.
She told him she loved him
He told her he knew
She cried in the embrace
He dried her tears.
She said she couldn't stand it anymore
He promised to change
She believed him.
He stayed the same and the cycle started all over again.
