A SIMPLE STORY OF HOPE
There once was a girl and a boy.
Both lived very different lives, and yet they still had something in common.
The boy was poor and lonely, his one wish in life was to have one really good friend.
As for the girl, she was rich but, longed for a good friend as well.
One day the two of them met and became friends.
Their wishes came true, but not long after the boy died.
He died from being hit by a car.
When the girl heard the news the next day, she was invited to his funeral.
Out of all the people there, she alone cried the most.
She was lonely again and would never have another friend like him.
She cried there and never stopped.
Her tears were like rivers never stopping never ending fountains that flowed.
She cried 'till she could cry no longer.
As the others left she stayed there.
Sitting, waiting, wishing, for some sort of miracle.
It seemed like none would come.
There she sat night after night, day after day.
No one took her home.
No one tried to change her set of mind.
No one cared.
It seemed like all hope was lost.
Then one day, after many days, the girl said a prayer.
She asked for help.
A miracle.
More hope.
More faith.
Something to take away the pain she felt so deeply in her heart.
Meanwhile, very nearby, another girl with a tear streaked face listened to the others prayer.
She listened intently and never walked away.
She loosened her grip on the bouquet of flowers she held and when it hit the floor it made a crackling noise.
The praying girl turned around and faced the other girl.
Her eyes fell upon the flowers fallen on the floor.
" Who are you?" she asked standing in front of the tombstone as if protecting it.
" I'm the boy's sister. " she said nonchalantly.
There they met.
There they became friends.
There was help.
There was a miracle.
There was hope.
There was faith.
There was someone to take all the pain away.
When you think there is no one, pray to God.
He's there for us to ask help from.
He's there to give miracles.
He's there to give hope to the hopeless.
He's there to give faith.
He's there to take the pain away.
