A/N: Hello Naruto readers. It's been a long time since I've written a Naruto story. About two and a half years? Forgive me. Remember, I do not own Naruto or any of the characters. It may be OOC, but I guess it's because of the long absence. Please read and review! Thanks!

"Teme!" a certain orange shinobi raged throughout Konoha in search of a particular person. He never got one letter, much less a warning and here he was, having to get the news through a second-hand account. As he stormed his way to the Uchiha household, thoughts of strangling the Uchiha to death popped up in his mind. He didn't care how tired the Uchiha was, or how injured he was and that he needed much needed rest to recover, he just wanted to relieve some of the anger built inside of him through a punch, a struggle or even through his Rasengan.
"Sasuke!" Naruto shouted as he burst in through the gates of the Uchiha house and made his way to the door, trying to open it, but it was locked.
"Sasuke! Open this door right now!" Naruto seethed. He heard faint shuffling from the other side and the door was yanked open, revealing a bare-chested Uchiha. He also looked quite a angry and frustrated,
"What do you want, idiot? I came back from a week-long mission, hopefully for a good night's rest and what do I get? A Usurakontachi foaming at the mouth and fists ready for a fight."
"If you knew what you did, you'd be pissed off too," Naruto said trying to size up the Uchiha.
"And what did I do that pissed you off so easily? Did Sakura still not reciprocate your love? Is she still in love with me?" The Uchiha smirked.
"Can we stop talking about Sakura-chan? This is about you!" Naruto breathed hard and Sasuke noticed it,
"I need you to do me two favors, dobe: One, stop screaming, and two, breathe through your goddamn nose for a minute."
Naruto breathed in hard for a minute before, settling down and calming his anger.
"Okay, now what is it that you came to see me about? Surely it's not to fit over how I got more missions than you?"
"No . . . It's just . . . everyone, even Hinata got a letter from you stating that you're okay. Why does it seem like I was the only one who never received news? Do you really hate me that much? Do you really want to make me worry?"
"And why should you worry?" Sasuke quirked a perfect eyebrow and watched the orange shinobi before him, squirm.
"Because . . . you're my friend, a comrade, one of the nine genins . . ."
"I'm not a genin anymore, haven't your brain kept up with the times?"
"I know! What I'm saying is, I just felt left out," Naruto quieted.
"If it makes you feel any better, I was planning on telling you myself. After a good day of rest, of course. But I didn't think the letters would cause so much turmoil in your heart," Sasuke said. Naruto flitted his blue eyes over the Uchiha's form, he could easily see the bandages and the bruises and the slight cuts decorating the young, but toned body.
"I should really go," Naruto shifted, nervously scratching the back of his head as he turned around to go back the way he came.
"Wait, I'm making ramen . . . would you like to have lunch with me?"
Naruto's eyes widen, not because of the invitation for a free ramen lunch but that the Uchiha had offered him to stay for a while. A smirk slowly worked its way onto Naruto's lips,
"Sure. I would love to."
