Hi! I'm Lizzie. This is my first attempt at writing a fanfiction. I realise that it's short, I wish I could of made it longer but everytime I tried it seemed really rambly and had no point. I hope you like it! and please let me know what you think. x
The girl that used to walk so proudly down the corridors now walks timidly and hesitantly. She used to hold her head high, she used to have a place in this school. Now she gets remarks thrown at her, slushies in her face and dumpster tosses daily.
The sad thing is Santana Lopez used to love herself. She used to love herself a lot. Now she can't even look in the mirror, the girl looking back at her is a stranger. The girl looking back is scared, quiet and lost. That isn't Santana in the mirror.
She used to be every boys dream girl. Now they want nothing to do with her. Now she's a dyke, she's wrong or she's just disgusting. She wanted to scream. Scream out all the pain, the anger and the sadness she's feeling. Scream that Brittany doesn't love her. Scream that she is an outcast. Scream that everyday gets harder and harder.
Her parents had kicked her out. She came out and they wanted nothing to do with her. They screamed disgusting words at her that she doesn't even want to think about. Kurt took her in, he really is the only one who knows how she's feeling.
She's lucky he took her in really. She used to be one of the people who bullied Kurt. How could she make someone feel so bad? How could she make someone feel like they are wrong?
Maybe, one day, Santana will be that proud, bitchy girl again. Maybe she'll get that sassiness back. Maybe, people will open their eyes and stop being so ignorant. Love is what the world needs more of, right? Homosexuality is still love. A girl can love a girl. A boy can love a boy. Why should Santana be singled out for loving a girl? Why should Kurt be looked at with hatred when he walks around holding hands with Blaine?
Rachel always said being a part of something makes you special. So Santana is special, she's special because she's in Glee. Right now, she needs them more than ever.
