Full Summary:
Max Street loves revenge, especially when it comes to protecting her family from people that kill. Now Max is in New York, looking for the people that killed her whole entire family. The Russian Mob can't hide in the city with Max after them. What happens when Max runs into the Third Watch? What happens when her real reason for being in the city comes out in the open? Max Street:
Everyone knows not to mess with the Russian Mob, everyone except me. My family and I had done nothing wrong, we just wouldn't give up our restaurant to the Mob and they didn't like that we were starting a rebellion against them. Not giving up our restaurant showed others in our neighborhood that it was alright to fight back. I still own the restaurant, but the Mob is no longer aloud to come to that side of Brooklyn anymore. They know that if they return, they might not make it out of Brooklyn alive.
Our neighborhood thought that they whole family had been killed during the shootout between us and the Mob and they were about to call our extended family in New York when I walked out of the restaurant. One of the shopkeepers grabbed me before the Mob could kill me as well. I was taken in by a cop that seemed to know what it felt like to lose everything he ever knew. I had an inkling that he had been burned by the Mob as well. He quit his job soon after taking me in so that he could help me run the restaurant and started teaching me about revenge.
Revenge was the only word I grew up with and it would push everything I ever knew out the window as I traveled to New York to find the people that took my families life, including that of my pregnant mother. The Port Authority cops knew that I would be joining them in New York and one of them even offered to let me stay with them. I declined as I knew that they would not want me staying with them since I was going after the Russian Mob. I didn't want them to know and I was adamant on not letting them find out.
