Dear Silver,
Can you hear me? I hope you can. I haven't seen you since the battle at the Pokémon League. I wonder where you are now.
Sometimes I wonder if you ever think of me, or wonder where I am. Of course you wouldn't, right? It's not like you to do something like that. I realized that I never got a chance to say goodbye to you back then. Sometimes, on my journey, I see a flash of red hair, and I always hope it's you. It never is, though.
I see Gold sometimes. He tries to cheer me up, but he never can. Did you know? He's the new Champion. I'm happy for him, aren't you? Do you still have the picture from Professor Elm's Laboratory? I do. It reminds me of the old days, when the three of us used to see each other almost every day. I remember you and Gold used to get into such big arguments. I miss those days. A lot. Sometimes my chest hurts when I remember all the laughs we shared.
Did I ever tell you Silver? I treasured the moments when we used to run into each other. I wish I could see you again. I wish we could have spent more time together. I wish your voice would speak my name one more time. I wish….I wish I could have told you how I felt. You know, I read something somewhere which said that everyone is connected by the night sky. The moon you see is the same size as the one I see. I wonder if you're on the other side, talking to me, as I am talking to you. I know you can't hear me. I wish my words could reach you...but if you're there, Silver, I just wanted you to know…
