"Gods, Percy, you stupid git!" Annabeth yelled. She slapped Percy, leaving a red mark on his left cheek. "What's wrong with you?"

"Ow, a lotta things!" Percy replied. He rubbed his left cheek, with a small frown plastered on his face. "That hurt..."

Annabeth rolled her eyes. "I know, it was supposed to."

"Annabeth!" Malcolm called, running over to them. "Travis and Connor are pranking the Demeter cabin! Again..."

Annabeth sighed. "Why can't Travis just admit he likes Katie, instead of showing it through pranks?"

"He's a boy," Rachel said, appearing from behind a nearby tree. "All boys are stupid."

Malcolm raised an eyebrow at that comment.

"Well, Athena boys aren't stupid."

"Hey!" Percy said, standing up straight and puffing out his chest. "Not ALL boys are stupid!"

Annabeth slapped him again, but on the other cheek this time.

Percy flinched and rubbed his right cheek. "OW!"

Rachel laughed. "I rest my case."

Malcolm laughed too, but then, his expression turned serious. "C'mon, Annabeth. The Stolls might get squeezed to death by thorny vines again."

"That must be some sight," Percy said.

Annabeth just rolled her eyes at this and rushed to the Demeter cabin with Malcolm.

Rachel was still laughing. She took a couple of deep breaths before saying, "Do you always get slapped?"

Percy nodded. "Regularly."

"Wow."

*****with Annabeth and Malcolm*****

"Ow, ow, ow, ow, OW!" the Stolls cried in pain. "We get it, we get it! We're sorry!"

Katie scowled. "You're not sorry!" She made the thorny vines coil themselves tighter around the Stolls' bodies. Two roses grew and inserted themselves into Travis and Connor's mouths, growing large enough, so they couldn't utter a single word.

The two brothers winced as the thorns dug into their skin.

"Katie, that's enough!" Malcolm said.

"No, just let the thorns dig into them some more."

"Katie, enough!" Annabeth cried.

Katie sighed. "Fine. Gods..." She made the roses shrink and turn back into little buds. The vines released the Stolls and slithered away.

"Katie, I'm sorry!" Travis begged.

"Yeah, it was all his idea!" Connor added.

"No, it wasn't!"

"Yeah, it was!"

"No, it-"

"SHUT UP!" Katie demanded. "Neither of you are completely forgiven and both of you are blamed."

Percy appeared behind Annabeth. "BOO!"

Annabeth jumped and turned around, back-hand-slapping Percy. "Oh, it's just you."

Percy put his hands up to his face. "OW! Yes, it was just me!"

"Don't ever do that to me again! You almost gave me a heart attack!"

"Right, I'm gonna make a mental note of that." Percy turned to the Stolls, who were bleeding quite a lot. "Whoa, this IS some sight. Well, everyone knows that the best vines ever are-" He reached for his back pocket and took out a pack of... "-Redvines!"

Travis and Connor immediately perked up. "REDVINES!"

Annabeth and Katie laughed. "Ha, wow."

Malcolm chuckled. "Weird. Well, I'm going to the canoe lake." And with that, he left.

Annabeth and Katie stayed there, though, watching Percy, Travis, and Connor Stoll eating Redvines.
