From where he was standing, he could see a very sinister-looking man clad in black. The man in black was talking to an old lawyer, he saw that the man in black looked familiar, he knew that he knows but he just couldn't put a finger on it.
He looked around the dingy alley, looking for something suspicious, but he only saw his sister on the ground, lying there, unconscious, with a bunch of trash. Only he knew that she wasn't dead, everybody else would have thought she was, but only he knew that this was temporary, only him and the people who shot her.
His sister stirred, messing up her copper-colored hair, and her eyes fluttered open, revealing pure Jade-green eyes. She looked around and saw a boy with dirty blond hair, hiding. She was confused, who is that boy?
"Who are you?" she whispered. The boy looked over at her, he looked surprised.
"I'm your brother, don't you remember?" he said, only then did the girl realize that he had Jade green eyes too. It seemed familiar, the boy seemed very familiar indeed.
She stood up and patted out her clothes, she looked at her clothes, then she looked disgusted. It's not normal for her to look disgusted, not at all. The boy looked her over and noticed her disgusted look.
"What's the matter?" he asked. She looked different.
"My clothes! That's the matter, are they always like this?" she said with a look of horror on her face. "I need to change, these aren't even presentable!"
But instead of answering, the boy put a hand over her mouth "shut it, Amy, do you want us to get caught?" he hissed.
They both pressed their back onto the wall and strained to hear what they were talking about.
"I will not tolerate this kind of behavior! I don't care that they're the children of Vikram! Get rid of them, immediately!" said the lawyer
this somehow filled Amy with unexplainable grief. Why do I feel like this?, I don't even know who they are, yet it fills me with dread.
Then something popped up in her head, an image registered, an image of a boy about her age wearing a suit, he has jet black hair, and amber eyes, and caramel colored skin.
Her head started spinning with memories, Korea, Russia, she remembered the Christmas party when she was twelve years old, she was in the library, reading when she saw a boy, the exact same boy except younger, she saw him pick a book from the shelf, she gasped, pride and prejudice, one of her favorite books, he saw her run and he followed her, wanting to be her friend.
She opened her eyes, then started walking forward, toward the lawyer. The boy tried in a vain attempt to grab her, but it was too late, he knew if he tried he'd be seen. It's already bad enough for his sister to be captured, but with no one out there to save her if he got captured too, that's just bad.
Before she was able to be seen by the lawyer and the man in black, she turned around and said "bye, Dan"
The last things she heard were "get her! If the Kabra boy sees her again, he'll be uncontrollable, she's the reason of this problem in the first place!"
"Stop! She's my sister! Don't hurt her!"
"If you think that will help her, child, then you don't know who you're dealing with!"
"Stop this at once, William!" a very familiar, British accented voice said.
"What makes you think you can control me? Huh, Ian? Why did you think that I would listen to you now, when I didn't listen to you before?"
"Because, I love her!" Ian yelled back
"If you love her so much, then I would be happy to kill you both" said the lawyer.
"No! Amy!" yelled Dan "I promise you, Amy, I'll win this and get everyone together, and I'll always be with you"
"I will always love you, Amy, and I'll always be with you" she heard Ian say.
She felt a hand on her own before she blacked out forever, she knew it was Ian's.
