I don't own the Amazing World of Gumball or any related characters.

I only own Siru and Xanos.

"Now, old friend, we have the most important job in history–perhaps in all time. You may very well outlast all of us here. You may see the new universe emerge. Tell me, Siru, if this was your choice, after all we have seen and survived... would you initiate the Purge?" a tall, mysterious, humanoid figure asked a bright, floating light.

The light replied. "Our universe is dead. I am Machine. I am Siru. I am Heirox. I am 001 Eternal Fire. I have never understood Heirox. And they will never understand me." When the light spoke it flickered with every word it said.

The humanoid figure nodded in understanding. "Clearly, in my thoughts-in truth-this Warden is much more than a machine."

The light now known as Siru gazed at the figure. "What do you have planned, Lord Xanos?" Siru asked.

The figure now known as Xanos replied. "The cosmos brought life into existence. Life is ever changing. I have seen it open itself time and again to change, down to its living heart." Xanos said. "Life roils with competition, death, and replacement, from the tide pool borders of our natal ocean to the farthest stars. Its cruelty and creativity are interwoven."

Siru only gazed silently as Xanos continued to speak.

"The sun westers. The air swirls and cools. Predators and scavengers come, but ignore us, and refuse our dead Warriors. The last gray and orange glow of day gives way to inky night. The air is very cold, the sky steady and clean. The stars have never seemed so many, never burned brighter. Never branded my eyes as they do now." Xanos finished saying.

Siru then asks a simple question. "Who will succeed us?" Xanos simply turned his head to Siru and answered.

"Them."

"You mean?"

"Yes, Them." Xanos answered. "They are worthy. And they have something the Heirox never had." Siru was puzzled by this and asked what did he mean.

"Unity. They work together rather then apart." Xanos once again answering Siru's question.

"So this is why you decided to place them all on one planet together?" Siru asked. "Yes." Xanos replied.

"They work together rather then apart. They themselves have infinite possibilities and maybe even one day they will surpass us."

Xanos could tell that Siru understood what he meant. After all, he wasn't the smartest A.I in the entire Heirox military for nothing.

"Will they ever know of us sir? Of our wars, our history, our deeds?" Siru asked Xanos.

Xanos didn't answer and instead asked Siru. "What do you think?"

Siru simply said. "We deserve to be forgotten."

Xanos nodded, agreeing with his closest friend and companion.

"So where did you place our future successors my lord?" Siru asked. "Earth" Xanos replied.

If Siru had a face, he would looked shocked. "The old Codus homeworld?" The A.I asked surprised.

Xanos only nodded and said. "We started small. It's only fitting that they do to."

"Agreed." Siru responded.

Siru then gazed at his master and asked one final question. "Sir? What will I do when your gone?"

Xanos turned his head towards Siru and replied. "Live Siru. Live and teach them when the times right. Just as the Revak taught us."

"It will be an honor sir." Siru replied back to his master.

Both beings turned to stare at a small blue planet. Wondering what the future will hold for their legacy.
