It had been a long year, but a worth while one. Voldemort was dead, Harry and Ginny were dating and if you paid any attention to rumors maybe even engaged. Ron was dating Lavender Brown again he had given up on the idea of being with Hermione after she told him she was a lesbian which he ranted over for about three months. Everyone had someone except Hermione, technically. But at the end of graduation she would have someone the one person she has wanted since she was eleven years old.
The graduation ceremony didn't take long but to Hermione it took forever. Once the ceremony was all said and done Hermione gave out hugs and thanked people, after a while she noticed people began to leave and along with them Minerva had left to. Hermione excused herself and went to Minerva's private rooms, Hermione stopped in front of the painting of Godric Gryffindor in front of it and took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.
'This is it!' Hermione said in her head excitedly as she said the password oddly enough the password didn't work. Minerva had the tendency to change the password everyday but she always told Hermione.
"Godric, could you please let me in?" Hermione asked.
"I'm sorry, Hermione. I know you're a good person but I can't if you don't know the password." Godric Gryffindor replied sadly, he did want to let her in but he could not allow her in without the password and with the rules in place.
"Are you serious! My true love is probably in there!" Just as Hermione finished her rant the painting swung open revealing a corridor. Hermione blinked rapidly and quickly went in towards the door at the end of the corridor that was slightly ajar. Inside Minerva stood by the fireplace sipping on some sort of drink. When she heard the sound of the door being moved she turned around and saw Hermione closing the door and standing in front of her.
"You figured out the password I see." Minerva smiled.
"Not really, I ranted and I guess I said it. Which I'm hoping two words that I did say were the password?" Hermione questioned as Minerva set down her drink and walked up to her and put some loose strands of hair behind her ear.
"And what two words were they?" Whispered Minerva as she lightly glided her hands down Hermione's arms eliciting a moan from Hermione.
"True love." Hermione moaned out as Minerva's one hand went up her back slowly.
"Do you still want to be with me? I am greatly older than you and…" Before Minerva wasn't able finish as Hermione began kissing her.
"I want you…I will…always…want…you….and only…you." Hermione said in-between kisses. Minerva smiled down at Hermione as she pulled away from the last kiss.
"You are no longer a student."
"And you are no longer my professor, unless you want me to call you professor from time to time." Smirked Hermione causing Minerva to laugh and to pick Hermione up.
"I want you so badly." Hermione said seriously as she leaned down and kissed Minerva as they went towards Minerva's bedroom. The last coherent thought Hermione had was…'I am finally going to be in her arms forever.'
