Rocky Legacy Part 1
Prologue:
When Robert Balboa was informed that his father, Rocky Balboa, died in his sleep he was shocked. He went to Paulie's house to inform him of the tragic death. When he got there and told Paulie the news, he dropped to his knees in tears. He was confused and angry. He said " that's impossible I talked to him just yesterday and he sounded as healthy as a horse" " Paulie its ok I'm just as confused as you are" Robert said. " You don't understand, he was like a brother to me" Paulie said, " I do understand, he was my father" Robert said. Paulie rubbed his eyes and said, " come on" "where are we going" Robert said, " to your old mans funeral" Paulie said.
2 years later, Robert got married to a beautiful woman named Marissa. He soon after quit his old job and got a job working at the hospital three blocks away from his new house. The newly wedded couple then started thinking about their honeymoon. And after three days of thinking, they finally chose to go to Hawaii.
Chapter 1: The Honeymoon
"Oh my god I cant believe were in Hawaii" Marissa said while carrying her luggage off the plane, " Well I promised you the best honeymoon ever and what could be better than Hawaii". She turned around gave Robert a kiss and said " its perfect". They then made there way toward the taxi across the street and Robert said " take us to the Sheraton Waikiki hotel please". The taxi driver looked at the couple and said " well well if I'm correct than I'm looking at a newly wedded couple on their honeymoon" "Yes sir" Robert said while packing the luggage into the back of the taxi. "Well congratulations" the driver said, "thank you," he said.
On there way to the hotel Marissa told Robert " I'm a terrible wife" "Why" he said. She then pulled from her purse an envelope. On the envelope was a big letter r on the front at that moment he knew it was from his dad. " Two years ago when we started dating, I found a letter from your dad it was mailed to you two days before your dads death I didn't want to give it to you at the moment because you were still upset and recovering from the news" she said with a tear rolling down her cheek " I was going to give it to you soon but I forgot all about it. When I went through my old stuff I found it and felt so much guilt because I never got to give it to you. I was going to give it to you that afternoon but then you proposed to me and I had to postpone the giving of the letter and I thought now might be a good time". She then started silently crying and Robert said " hey look at me, it wasn't your fault you just forgot, everybody forgets once in a while" he then gently grabbed her chin and said, " don't let this ruin our honeymoon". "Ok" she said with a smile and said " wait aren't you going to read it" " not yet. Lets wait till the morning" he said.
This is the end of part 1 of Rocky Legacy. The next part of the story will include Robert, Marissa, there child Matthew Balboa, and more. Please leave comments so that I know what I need to improve.
