Dark and Light
He was evil. Every part of him was completely dark. All he knew was the darkness, yet there was one person who brought out the good in him. That brought out his inner light. She was the embodiment of light. She was pure yet there was a darkness in her heart that only he could eliminate. This was their destinies to meet. Their fates.
Pitch's POV
I patted the head of my shadow mare while looking at the sky carefully. I inhaled the air slowly. "There's rain coming. I should go out and watch the lightning. Maybe that would cure this boredom." I disappeared into the shadows then reappeared on a steep ridge overlooking a small, shallow pond. "The clouds look heavy. This is going to be quite a shower." I thought to myself. Soon later it was heavily down-pouring. I just stood in the rain and watched each strike hit the earth with a loud bang. "This is quite beautiful. I need to get away from the dark more often to observe natures gifts more times than this." Just then a bright light bursted in front of me. I covered my eyes then looked at the ground where the lightning had struck. I starred in awe at the sight that was in front of me. I then slowly crept back into the shadows to avoid being seen.
Winona's POV
My eyes fluttered open. "W-where am I?" I asked out loud. I looked around me to see I was in the middle of a clearing in a forest. I slowly and carefully stood up but then I started teetering then fell back to the ground. "Do you need some help getting up dear? You seem like you're in need of some." I sat frozen. "W-who are you? Come out w-where I can see you." Just then a tall, pale, and slender man creeped out from the shadows and stood directly in the moonlight to my left. I could tell by the look in his eyes that there was something he was trying to hide from me, but I just shrugged the thought away. I suddenly started shaking, yet I couldn't help but feel like he was nothing to be afraid of.
Normal POV
They just starred into each other's eyes. With each step Pitch took closer to her, Winona inched herself farther and farther away. She looked at him with terror yet there was a hint of curiosity. Pitch saw this and tried to draw it out so he could figure out who or what she was. Without realizing it, each and every step they took lead Winona closer to the edge of the pond. She was on the edge when she lost her footing and nearly fell in, but Pitch grabbed her arm before she did. Their eyes locked, yet this time there was completely different feeling that came with it. There was this feeling trapped in the air around them, yet they had no idea how much that feeling would affect them later on in life. This feeling, you could say, was going to make or break them both.
Tell me what you all think of my first story please but please no negativity! :) Thanks you
