A/N: Okay, so, WARNING – this is dark and angsty but it's something I feel is a really important part of Blair's story. So, I hope you like it, please review darlings xo

Everybody Leaves

Everybody leaves.

People are only a temporary entity.

Everybody leaves, eventually.

Blair sat there, her knees clutched to her body and her back slumped against the cubical door, her face wet and mascara staining her flushed cheeks from where she'd been crying.

What was so wrong about her that she couldn't make anybody stay?
Even her father, her own father had left her.

Was she really that bad?

She had no body she could turn to.

Because everybody leaves;

Bestfriends go away to boarding school without so much as a goodbye,

Boyfriends drift because you aren't enough to keep them occupied,

Fathers run off to France with their lovers

And mothers hide behind their work as far from you as they can get.

Everybody leaves.

And now, she was sat there, with nowhere left to turn.

People come and go but, why was it that she could never make any of them stay?

No one stayed and everyone left. That's the way it had been for a while now.

Did she push them away?

Was that it?

Was there something about her that just drove everyone out of her life after a while?

Did they get bored of her?

Was she just some toy that people picked up when they felt like it and then discarded the moment they lost interest?

She leaned forward so she was now crouching over the pristine white toilet bowl.

And then, she raised a delicate but trembling hand to her mouth, placing two digits down her throat she began to wretch.

All the feelings, emotions, worlds, everything stormed through her weary brain, her vision blurred with tears as she heaved up the contents of her stomach into the basin.

Because everybody leaves.

Eventually.

Because in a land where Princesses are really broken girls with twisted minds, haunted pasts and fractured souls, who would ever want to be King?
