Alright cool. This was good. This would be fun. No, scratch that, this would be great. No school, no spidermom, just sixteen friends, and no parental supervision. Pretty much like one of those stupid girly beach movies. Only this wasn't going to be lame.

Once she pulled her car into the driveway of the huge house that they were supposed to be sharing, Vriska turned to her carpool buddy, Terezi. "You ready for the awesome cliched summer adventure?"

"If you say so," she answered.

Upon entry, Vriska was crushed my a massive bear hug from John.

"Ouch- hi there," she grunted and looked around. It appeared that she and Terezi were the last to arrive.

"You two are sharing a room on the second floor," Equius said.

"Yeah, you see," Tavros added, "You don't get to pick your roommates when you're late."

"Yeah, whatev- I CALL TOP," Vriska yelled, picked up all her bags, and ran towards their shared room, with Terezi behind her shouting "Hey, that's not fair! You don't even know if there are bunk beds!"

There were, and Vriska triumphantly dumped her things on the top bunk. Then she set about exploring her new surroundings.

The house was actually really nice. First of all, it was huge, with four floors. The first two had three bedrooms each, and the third had two. There was a bathroom connected to each bedroom and a small common area and kitchenette on each of the first three floors. The fourth floor held a huge living room complete with several gaming consoles, several hundred games and DVDs, and a huge collection of board games. On the top floor was also a kitchen with a bar, a dining area, and another bathroom. Outside was a hot tub as well as a fairly large swimming pool, the purpose of which Vriska failed to see as the ocean was visible from her and Terezi's bedroom window.

From the window, she could see that the beach wasn't too crowded. There were some college kids, a young couple, probably on their honeymoon, a family with three little kids, and a few old people. They had picked the right beach to come too.

Vriska stormed back up the stairs wearing her swimsuit.

"I'm going swimming, who's coming?"

Feferi jumped up as if she'd been dying to get in the water as well. "I'm gonna be first in!"

She was the first in, at least in their group. Feferi was already splashing around by the time Vriska and a few of their other friends arrived.

Vriska noticed she was grinning ridiculously as she waded out into the restless waves. Nepeta was pulling Equius towards the water, Eridan had followed Feferi into the water and the two were now being bizarrely adorable. Terezi had started a game of volleyball with the college kids there and John was waiting impatiently for Dave to finish applying his sunblock. All her friends in one house on some beach straight out of a chick-flick for two months with no supervision.

This was truly going to be the best summer to remember.
