Dean's head shot up the moment Cas cried out in pain, now that he was human, Cas was more vulnerable than ever. Dean was worrying over him at the littlest thing like now in the ice cream shop, when he was treating Cas to his first ice cream cone.
"Dean my-my head, it hurts! I'm dying! My head! It's...it's...it's-"
"Frozen?" Dean tried to suppress his laughter at Cas' adorable face, eyes wide and his perfect kissable mouth dropped open in horror at the thought of his head actually being frozen by this small, sweet delight. It didn't work, and Cas glared at him as he tried to stop laughing.
"This is no laughing matter, Dean. I'm dying and my head is freezing."
"You're not dying, Cas. You've just got a brain freeze. Quit being a drama queen."
"I do not understand, how can one's brain freeze?" Dean sighed in a mixture of annoyance and adoration at Cas.
"Not literally dumbass, you ate your ice cream too fast," Dean replied as he reached over the table to wipe ice cream off the corner of Cas' mouth with his thumb.
Cas' eyes grew wide again, this time because of a feeling he did not understand, but felt often whenever he was near Dean. Cas was yanked out of his thoughts and gasped when he felt Dean's thumb swipe across his lower lip and continue to trace the outline of his mouth. He felt his pants grow tight as a foreign emotion crashed over him. He looked at Dean and saw his eyes clouded with what looked like love and lust, two emotions Cas now realized were his unidentified feelings towards Dean.
Again Cas was ripped out of his emotional thoughts when Dean's perfectly kissable mouth crashed into his, and once again Cas' pants grew tighter and tighter. Dean pulled back (much to both of their dismay) and the couple looked at each other, mirroring shocked, lustful, and utterly loving looks towards each other. Dean blushed and continued to eat his ice cream as Cas stared at him, trying to figure out a way to kiss him again and taste the sweetness of the ice cream and Dean.
