Keitaro is sitting in his room thinking about his going nowhere relationship with Naru and how she treats him. "WELL I'M NOT TAKING IT ANY MORE" he exclaims to himself as he jumps to his feet and marches upstairs to HER room.
As Keitaro approached Naru's room he took a deep breath and slammed the door aside storming in and as usual with his "luck" she was changing. "KEITARO YOU PERVERT!" she screamed. Keitaro took no notice too her ranting but instead stared at her with a cold steely gaze then he started to sing…
There are just too many times that people have tried to look inside of me
Wondering what I think of you and I protect you out of courtesy
Too many times that I've held on when I needed to push away
Afraid to say what was on my mind afraid to say what I need to say
As he sang he thought about all the emotions he kept from her for fear that she would reject him or worse…
Too many things that you've said about me when I'm not around
You think having the upper hand means you gotta keep putting me down
She would insult him, calling him a loser or a pervert to all their friends, thinking she was above him…
But I've had too many standoffs with you it's about as much as I can stand
And I'm waiting until the upper hand is mine
She would send him flying at the slightest "accident", before he could even try to explain himself, but that was all about to change…
So many people like me put so much trust in all your lies
So concerned with what you think to just say what we feel inside
So many people like me walk on eggshells all day long
All I know is that all I want is to feel like I'm not stepped on
Naru would say that she didn't like him or that she hated him all the time, but he knew they were lies, lies that cut him deep, but Keitaro still let her walk all over him letting her believe he was nothing…

Those lies, as deep as they went, couldn't make him ache the way he does when she called him pathetic for chasing a 15 year old promise, but soon things would be different…

She knew how much her lies hurt him, yet she continued to speak them, thinking they made her superior to him. In reality it was those very lies that sent her tumbling down…

As he sung those final words Naru was in tears realizing what he was saying to her. Before she could say anything, he turned to walk away. As he did, his voice was cold and jaded as he whispered, "It's over."
A/N: Well this was my first fan fic so read and review. I'd also like to thank my brother for helping me with some of the grammar.
This is my very first fan fic so go easy. Its basically a song fic to "Hit the Floor" by Linkin Park. I rated it PG just in case.
