Rin POV

I sighed and looked up from my paper. Kaito-sensei was talking once again about his childhood memories. His blue hair was falling onto his face; we all knew what happened and had told him multiple times to go home. He, of course, didn't listen saying he needed to be here for us.

I stared out the window till I heard the final bell ring. Finally! I was the last out the door, as usual, but my brother was still waiting near the door for me. His girlfriend, Rui, and her brother, Rei, on either side of him. I gave Rei a weak smile before walking past them begging them to follow.

Our walk home was silent as usual. Rui and Len walked ahead, hand in hand. Rei and I walked behind barely glimpsing at each other. It was heart breaking. I loved Rei but I knew he would never love me back.

Rui POV

I jumped around dropping Len's hand and started walking backwards.

"Rin-Chan! Rei-Chan! Why don't you two just admit it?" my voice came out a squeak but I didn't care. The look of irritation on Rei's face when I use their honorifics was enough. In truth, we only used honorifics when teasing each other. "You two have feelings for each other, so why don't you admit it?"

Rin's face turned a deep red before she stuttered, "W-what are you talking about, Rui?" She turned to Rei to see his face the same shade of red. Rin's eyes filled with tears before she ran off in the direction of home.

"Well, nice going, Rui," Rei smirked before running after Rin.

Rei POV

When I caught up to Rin, I had to grab her wrist to stop her from walking farther ahead.

"Rin…" she turned around and looked me in the eye, her eyes still filled with tears, "Rin, let me explain…"

"What is there to explain? You've been hurting me ever since we first met and you feel the same. There's nothing to explain, Rei!" Rin yanked her wrist from my grasp and ran off again.
