Kidnaped

"Saerwen? Is something wrong?" Lady Galadriel questioned. She walked along side her granddaughter as they entered the garden. Saerwen's greyish blue eyes stared down at the ground while her black hair fanned around her face.

"I am distressed about my Father's decision to send me here. He said he sent me here because of the Orc numbers in Rivendell, but Lothlórien isn't any better since Mirkwood might send an army to attack our woods. If it was for my safety, then why send me into even more danger?" Saerwen inquired. With a saddening frown, she sat down on a bench beside her Grandmother.

"He knows that Mirkwood is only pretending to plan an attack and will not dare come near our borders. I know that Haldir is a dear friend of yours and a skilled warden. I don't think he would let anything or anyone into the city if there is an attack. Besides, I would foresee it." Galadriel smiled as Saerwen giggled.

"Should you really be using your gifts like that? Now Thranduil has a reason to attack you." Saerwen joked and Galadriel took her hand.

"I should use every ounce of my powers to keep my people safe." Galadriel stated as she looked up to the flowers in front of them.

"I guess you are right, but I have an uneasy feel coming. A storm perhaps?" She guessed. Galadriel suddenly picked up her head and looked around in alertness.

"What is it? Are you alright?" Saerwen questioned softly as she touched Galadriel's white silk covered shoulder.

"I sense an uneasiness as well. I now wonder how you sensed it before I did..." Galadriel paused one last time then she looked to her granddaughter. The fear in her eyes was something of pain. What could she be seeing or sensing?

"Saerwen, go straight to you grandfather. I must see what is amok in my mirror." Galadriel quickly walked away from Saerwen as both elleths went in opposite directions. She took many turns and found herself in the market. Saerwen walked passed many shops that were closed and many that were just left unattended. Normally it was quiet, but not this quiet.

She was all alone which made her very nervous. Saerwen ran down a dirt path as she thought of reasons why this was happening. It was quiet and almost too quiet. Her grandfather must have called everyone for a meeting! Saerwen grinned and continued to run. Suddenly, something dashed out of the trees and threw her down to the ground. The sky above have black spots in it while the trees swayed. She tried to get up, but was tied at the wrist and feet in record time. She laid there, on her side with her wrists tied behind her back and her ankles tied aswell.

"We've got her, your Highness." An Elf said as he let her sit there in the dirt. She looked over to see the only people in the world she didn't want to see. Mirkwood Elves. The so called 'Highness' was Prince Legolas of Mirkwood, who smirked with smugness.

"Not bad, for a daughter of Elrond. I thought that Arwen was the best they could get." He said as he place his fingers under her chin to move her face from side to side. She snapped her head to the side to keep him from touching her. He chuckled and kneeled down beside her.

"Sorry, but we have to make sure you will be quiet." Saerwen was about to let out a shriek when she was hit on the back of the head. Everything went black.
