I'm useless.

Completely and utterly useless.

Naruto has been trying so hard to get Sasuke-kun back, and look at me…

Crying like a weakling…

I've constantly had to scold myself.

Sakura, you're a kunoichi! Don't let this stuff bring you down! Don't give up hope! Naruto will bring him back! And, you, Sakura… You have to train. You have to get stronger, so you can help Naruto bring Sasuke-kun back!

I admired Naruto, Lee, everyone.

They were all working so hard.

So, I have to do the best I can.

-

I knocked on the door to Naruto's hospital room.

"Naruto!" I greeted, a fake smile on my face. Naruto was just sitting there covered in bandages… My heart wrenched with sorrow and guilt.

If only I was stronger… If only I could protect him…

He smiled brightly at me, surprising me…

He truly was unpredictable.

"Sakura-chan… I will bring him back. I promise."

I had to try so hard not to cry…

… But I couldn't help it.

I ran straight into his arms, momentarily forgetting he was wounded.

"Naruto!" I cried, tears pouring down my face.

His arms encircled me, protecting me as I cried in his arms.

He rubbed my neck, calming me down. He then tilted my head and leaned down.

My eyes widened… He had kissed me.

"Naruto…" I murmured when he released me, blushing furiously as he muttered his apologies.

I blushed… He… Took my first kiss.

"Gomen ne, Sakura-chan! I didn't mean to!"

I scowled. Didn't mean to?! WHY THAT LITTLE-!

I bonked him on the head, but I was secretly smiling.

Konoha's Number One Knuckle-Headed Ninja was, as usual, full of surprises… And able to cheer anyone up.
