The Veil
I mourn for you ,
When I close my eyes all I see is you ,
Your falling , falling ,
your beautiful grey eyes I loved ,
Are wide in surprise and pain as you fall in the veil ,
The black fluttering veil stills as you fall through ,
The voices we have heard are gone ,
It' s satisfied , it' s claimed another victim ,
You were like a father to me ,
A brother , a friend , a possible lover all rolled into one ,
And I have loved you ,
Tears fall down my face and your name escapes my lips ,
As I awake from my living hell ,
Forced to see the life fade out of your eyes once more ,
I can hear the voices again , now there calling to me ,
Saying everything will be allright ,
How I could see you again ,
I find myself entranced , really ?
I walk through the empty halls ,
I am coming I tell them ,
I step up onto the dais ,
I can hear you calling me ,
I hear a scream No harry ! , Sirius wouldn' t want this for you !
I sneer at them ,
How dare they say your name ?
I walk through the veil and into your waiting arms ,
We watch from heaven as the world cries below ,
The headlines the next day report ,
Boy – Who – Lived walks through the veil of death ,
To join Dead Godfather ,
I turn in your arms and tell you I love you ,
You tell me you do too and promise to never leave me again ,
This isn' t the end death is just the beginning
