A/N: Kind of AU, but based on the manga-verse… the younger half of the FMA cast (Ling, Ed, Al, Lan Fan, Winry, Mei and Paninya) go on a camping trip…
SHUT UP AND LOOK AT THE STARS!
They had been hiking for over 5 hours, so everyone was grateful when they finally made it to their campsite, pitched their tents, had supper and hit the hay.
After a brief scuffle over who would sleep where (which Al won, but surrendered to a sulking Ed), the boys settled down and drifted off.
While the boys were being halfway civilized, the girls were being crazy. But, what with their lack of sleep, who could blame them.
Around one AM, Winry discovered that being in a sleeping bag made you approximately the same size and shape as a steamroller (it was also extremely hot in the tent, causing the air to be muggy and gross). Ecstatic at her discovery, Winry proceeded to roll over Paninya and Mei. The tow soon joined in, flailing around like crazed human burritos or angry worms.
Lan Fan sighed and tried her best to ignore her idiot friends. Don't give her that look! She really did! She even succeeded for a couple minutes, before the instigator of this craziness (Winry) steamrolled HER.
The quiet girl snapped. Shooting upright and kicking out of her sleeping bag, she flipped the mechanic over her shoulder, put her in a half-nelson, and dragged her out the tent.
Lan Fan forced the blonde to look up and the sky, the Milky Way shone peacefully overhead. "LOOK AT THE STARS! LOOK AT THEM!" The brunette roared.
"Y-yes, Lan Fan." Winry whispered timidly.
"YOU WANT TO GO TO SLEEP NOW!"
Winry nodded. "Y-yes, Lan Fan."
"GOOD!" Lan Fan picked Winry up bodily, shoved her back in to her sleeping bag and laid her gently on the ground, whirling to face Mei and Paninya. The other two girls were huddled in the far corner of the tent, shaking in fear. "Get in your sleeping bags!" She snarled. The girls complied hurriedly.
Winry was still shell-shocked, and muttering, "I want to sleep now. I want to sleep now. I want to sleep now."
Lan Fan wriggled one arm out of her sleeping bag and patted the blonde's cheek, whispering softly. "Sshh. Sleep."
