I walked in the door to ask Finland if he was prepared for the giant snow storm that was due to come during the night. After all I didn't want my wife to be trapped in the snow in his house if the snow got too deep. I used the spare key he gave me when he didn't answer the door when I knocked. I let myself in to the house and took off my large boots so as to not track mud through the nicely kept house. I looked in the kitchen for the small blond and I frowned when I couldn't find him.
I was slightly worried for my small wife until I heard faint humming from the living room. I looked into the room and saw the small top of a blond head just above the top of the couch. The small Finn wasn't facing my way so I came up behind him and looked down. Due to my height, I could see that my cute little wife was knitting a scarf in the Swedish flag colors. I saw one in the Finnish flag colors next to him that was already finished. I looked over his head, "Cute." it seemed that Timo hadn't heard me as he kept on knitting the scarf he was on. I suddenly noticed the two small earbuds that he was listening to. I wondered what music he was listening to, so I gently took them both out of his ears.
He turned to me behind the couch and gave me a bone-chilling smile as loud heavy metal poured out of the earbuds that I had picked up. I dropped them in shock as Timo kept knitting and I slowly backed out of the room to contemplate what I had just seen and heard. Next time I would just call.
