A drabble.
Thought up from my mind.
My first story, please be lenient as I have no beta.
Tick tock, tick tock.
She swivelled her head to look at the clock. 2.00PM. Four hours to go before the end of work, and she could finally go home.
Remembering the evening crowd, she sighed to herself. There was absolutely no way she could get a seat on the train. At least once she arrived back home, she could rest on the plush couch with her beloved cat, eat some Chinese takeaway and watch shows until it was time to sleep so she could be refreshed for work the next day.
She sighed again. When had all these happened? When had she become someone who hated her job? Everyone always thought of her as someone who would achieve big things in life and travel around the globe. However, it seemed that she was now stuck in this 9-6 desk job where she was surrounded by paperwork nearly everyday. If only she could use a time turner and get back to her school days, such that she will be able to work harder for her exams!
Maybe if she did that, maybe if a certain teacher was not biased towards his house, maybe she could have applied for another job, a better job, instead. The sound of the keyboard clacking and people talking on the phones brought her to reality and she sighed again. Glancing at the clock, it read 2.01PM.
Tick tock, tick tock.
